Hello Hank, Hello Wyman ! Wyman I too was in Tigers from May 1967 until January 1968, (then four duce mortars, until my ETS i April 1968). I know we have talked by email years ago, But I am not good at sitting down and translating my feelings. I end up feeling down and doing nothing. I Am trying to work out something to attend the August reunion in Savanna. Besides Hank, Jean Soucy is the only Tiger I have had any real solid emails with. Hank are you going to Savanna? I wonder if Harold Trout will be there. I long for the day to give Patti a big Paratrooper hug, and a warm kiss for her part as my Airborne Sister of my comrade, her brother John, which was later KIA in an action that awarded him the MOH. On 21 May 2012, on Fort Hood, I attended "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Ceremony". I wore my re-created Tiger shirt with "full colors" with the boonie hat complete with 1/327 flash and wings and grenade pin looped in the band. I wore a black map case with "The Book" in it. Just in case someone wanted to discuss politics ! Later my Brothers and Sisters of Tiger Families every where. Sincerely, Mick

Been awhile since I visited site. My son has scanned in my photos of the 66 Tigers and will have them posted in next few days. Read Charlie Evans comments on 2010 reunion and agree. That was my first and seeing some of the finest men I ever knew after so many years and meeting those who came later was an experience I will never foget.

Hi, my name is Mitchell Errebo, I was a first cousin of Butch Kobbeman's. I saw his name another website's roster spelled "Butch Kobberman". It was spelled "Kobberman" but I assume it was spelled wrong. I know he served in the Tiger Force in 67'-68' but know really nothing else. He passed away in 1990. If you can give any insight of your service with him it would be much appreciated. I am from Lincoln, Kansas where Butch grew up. Thanks Mitchell Errebo

Someone is gathering info on Sgt.Christian Girard "Frenchy" to publish a story about his life and military service. He was a TF team leader in 66 and was KIA in Cambodia 8Apr69 while with SOG. Please contact me if you served with him so I can put you in touch with the author. My e-mail is tuyho1@yahoo.com and phone is 478-477-9040.

Great site, gentlemen. Thank you for your efforts to record and preserve the sacrifices all of you made during the war. I was a USAF based in Hue '68-'69 and spent a lot of time over the A Shau Valley
http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~tpilsch/AirOps/AShau.html
One correction to the C, 1327, Veghel site: The first photo of the A Shau Valley from Eagle's Nest says the airfield is A Shau. In fact that is A Luoi, further north up the valley from the A Shau SF camp. There was a SF camp there for a short time in '65 but was closed about three months before the A Shau camp fell.
Welcome home!
